There is a beautiful shot of Osprey, the silk crepe, empire-line wedding dress from Sarah Treble’s Couture Collection in the March/April edition of Brides magazine.

The, fluid, slim silhouette and feather detailing on the shoulder works perfectly in this vintage, 1920′s inspired story.

Osprey is available from No3 Chiltern Street in London.

Devon country wedding

A simple silk crepe dress with lace applique

I’ve just been sent some lovely pictures of an Idyllic summer wedding in Devon.  Hannah chose an adaptation
of a dress from the Sarah Treble Couture Collection.  A simple A line dress in sumptuous silk crepe. The skirt
was appliqued with lace and overlaid with silk chiffon. The little cap sleeves were edged in antique lace which
Hannah had found at an antiques fair and really wanted to use in her dress.  This dress worked perfectly for
Hannah’s country, summer wedding.

Photographs by Victoria Phipps capture the mood and detail wonderfully.

Antique Linen Wedding Dress

Antique Linen Wedding Dress

When Olivia came to meet me at my London studio with a length of beautiful, antique French linen to make into a wedding dress, I knew it was a project I was going to really enjoy.

She had definite ideas of how she wanted the dress to look. Close fitting bodice with sleeves and turned back cuffs, nipped in waist and a full swinging skirt with net petticoats and hoops.

Combining this with vintage buttons, antique silk sash and corsage from Olivia’s collection, together we created her perfect dress.
