“Thank you for the beautiful dress, right from the initial meeting, the design, the mock up and through to the final dress (!) I knew how lucky I was to have found your website and I can’t wait to tell people you designed and made it ”

There were great shots of Beverley Knight in Hello magazine last month. They show her wearing “Osprey” a dress from the Sarah Treble Couture Collection which she chose for her recent wedding.

Bespoke design in Pistachio duchesse satin and organzaI was recently sent these great images of Libby who commissioned a dress for her wedding in the Devon countryside this September. Andy Green ( herreraimages.co.uk ) is an amazing photographer who captured the real feel of the day (and the dress) perfectly.

Libby, who has a very definite style, was very involved in the design of her dress. choosing silk duchesse satin in pistachio overlaid with silk organza which was then hand embellished with floral appliqué.

The curvy fishtail silhouette of the dress suits Libby’s figure perfectly and we both agreed that the collar made from huge organza dip-dyed “petals” completed the dramatic impact of this beautiful dress.

Devon country wedding

A simple silk crepe dress with lace applique

I’ve just been sent some lovely pictures of an Idyllic summer wedding in Devon.  Hannah chose an adaptation
of a dress from the Sarah Treble Couture Collection.  A simple A line dress in sumptuous silk crepe. The skirt
was appliqued with lace and overlaid with silk chiffon. The little cap sleeves were edged in antique lace which
Hannah had found at an antiques fair and really wanted to use in her dress.  This dress worked perfectly for
Hannah’s country, summer wedding.

Photographs by Victoria Phipps capture the mood and detail wonderfully.

Rock and Roll Bride. Emmaline’s wedding is a hit

Emmaline & Guy’s Two-Day Cross Country Wedding is featured in the wedding blog Rock and Roll Bride with loads of lovely photos by Sarah Gawler.

Emmaline found Sarah after she’d spent a year ripping out pictures from catwalk shows and fashion magazines. As Emmaline describes in the blog “After our first meeting I was convinced she could bring my dream to life. We then realised Sarah would be moving to Devon, a 7 hour round trip from London which would make fittings trickier than usual, but I just couldn’t imagine anyone else being able to help.”

Sarah’s really pleased she made the journey down to beautiful Devon and boy does she look good.  Congratulations.

Antique Linen Wedding Dress

Antique Linen Wedding Dress

When Olivia came to meet me at my London studio with a length of beautiful, antique French linen to make into a wedding dress, I knew it was a project I was going to really enjoy.

She had definite ideas of how she wanted the dress to look. Close fitting bodice with sleeves and turned back cuffs, nipped in waist and a full swinging skirt with net petticoats and hoops.

Combining this with vintage buttons, antique silk sash and corsage from Olivia’s collection, together we created her perfect dress.
